What We Believe
We, the believers of Jesus Is Lord ministries, are united in the Spirit of God and washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was at the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." (John 1:1-4). We believe in the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ through the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost, the Promise of God (Luke 1:31-35).
We believe that the only way to heaven is through the salvation of Jesus Christ (i.e. Being "born again"), which also puts our name in the Book of Life (John 3:1-6, Romans 10:8-13, Revelation 20:15). "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God." (John 1:12-13). In turn, we believe salvation comes by confessing with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and by believing in the heart that He died for our sins. We believe that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our only way to the Father.
We believe in a literal Hell and the lake of fire-where will inhabit all who refuse to believe in salvation through. Christ Jesus. Anyone who continues to deny His salvation and Word and whose name is not found written in the Book of Life will be eternally lost (Revelation 20:15).
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of our Lord and that it cannot change. It is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Bible is the Word of God written by man, by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, and is designed so that we be not hearers of the Word only, but doers (James 1:22-23). All things that we believe come only from that Word or the inspired revelations of the Word, and bring us to perfection
and to all good works and deeds (1 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone of our Church and upon Him all our principles and standards are based. Jesus Is Lord Ministries is set upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, and He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelist, and some pastors, and
teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16).

By speaking the truth in love, we believe we will grow up in all things unto Him Who is the Head, even Christ, for the edifying of itself in love. We are not ignorant of the spiritual gifts of God. We pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, which are: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, supernatural faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. All are given by the Spirit of God to each one individually as He wills (I Corinthians 12:8-11).
We believe that Jesus Christ has sent us into the world to preach the gospel to every creature, and to we who believe, these signs shall follow: in Jesus' name we shall cast out devils; we shall speak with new tongues; we shall take up serpents; and if we drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt us; we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16:15-18).
We believe that Jesus sent the Comforter to guide us into all truth and enable us to be witnesses in this dark world. This comforter is the Holy Ghost whom we receive upon the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior. Trough the Holy Ghost, we will do the works of Jesus because Jesus is with the Father (John 14:12).
We believe that Jesus will soon return for His people. Therefore, I "...exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray
without ceasing. In everything give thanks... Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesying. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it. " (I Thessalonians 5:14-24).
